Why it's here

Seven ports from two adjacent USB-C slots on MacBook Pro 2016–2020 or Air 2018–2020.

A thin laptop gives you two USB-C ports and nothing else, and one of them is usually charging. This dock plugs into both at once and hands back the connections a work setup actually needs — an external display, two USB devices, both card formats — while still passing power through to the machine.

  • Ports7 — HDMI, 2 × USB-C, USB 30, USB 20, SD, microSD
  • DisplayHDMI 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz
  • ChargingThunderbolt 3 passthrough, up to 100 W

Honest fit check

Is it right for your desk?

Good fit if

  • You have a MacBook with two adjacent USB-C ports and nothing else.
  • You connect an external display and still need to charge.
  • You move cards off a camera and are tired of a separate reader.

Not for you if

  • You need 4K at 60 Hz — this outputs 4K at 30 Hz.
  • You need Ethernet: there is no RJ45 port on this model.
  • Your laptop has a single USB-C port, or they are far apart.

Questions

Before you order

Does the HDMI really do 4K?

Yes, at 3840 × 2160 and 30 Hz. If you need 60 Hz at 4K, this is not the hub for you — we would rather say so than let you find out after it arrives.

Can I read an SD and a microSD card at the same time?

No. The supplier states the two card slots cannot be read simultaneously.

Will it charge my laptop while a monitor is connected?

Yes. The Thunderbolt 3 port carries up to 100 W, and the supplier recommends keeping power connected when you are driving HDMI.

When will it arrive?

Estimated delivery to the contiguous United States: 4–6 business days in total, counting processing and transit. It is an estimate, not a guarantee. The estimated arrival shown with the Add to cart button is calculated from today and skips weekends and US federal holidays.

What if it arrives damaged or it is the wrong item?

Contact us. If we sent the wrong item, or it arrived faulty or damaged, we replace it or refund it in full, including any shipping you paid.
